Nothing. Submitting a request is free. Receiving profiles is free. You only pay the professional directly when you book and they deliver the service. VRL Beauty does not charge seekers any fees.
How does the matching process work?
You fill in the form with your service, budget, location, and preferred booking mode. We go through our verified professionals and find those who match your budget and service type. We send you up to 5 profiles. Each profile has the professional’s photo, services, rates, past work, and reviews. You look through them and pick who you want.
How fast do I get my matches?
Most requests are matched in under 2 hours. Some take a little longer depending on the service category and location. You will always hear from us.
What if my budget is too low?
We will tell you. Every service category has a minimum rate set by the professionals on the platform. If your budget is below that minimum, we let you know before we match anyone. We ask if you want to adjust. If not, we don’t waste your time.
What are my three booking modes?
When you submit a request, you choose how you want the service delivered.
At your place — the professional comes to your home, office, or hotel. They arrive with all their tools and equipment.
At their place — the professional has their own studio or private setup. You go to them.
At a salon — the professional works from an established salon. You book and go there.

Which parts of Kenya are you in?
We are Kenya-wide. We have professionals in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, and many other towns. When you submit your location, we match professionals who can serve that area.
What if the professional cancels last minute?
We take no-shows and late cancellations seriously. Professionals who cancel without notice are flagged immediately. If it happens to you, contact us and we will rematch you as a priority. We keep this record against the professional’s account.
Is it safe to let a professional into my home?
This is the right question to ask. Every professional on VRL Beauty is verified by national ID before they are approved. We contact their past clients directly. We check that their portfolio is their own work. Roughly 7 out of 10 applicants do not make it through.
Beyond vetting, every booking creates a record. The professional knows their name, ID, and rating are attached to every job they do through this platform. That accountability is built into how the system works.
If at any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, contact us immediately. Every complaint is logged and investigated. No professional keeps their account if we receive a serious concern about their conduct.
Can I rebook the same professional again?
Yes. If you found someone you like, you can request them by name when you fill in the form. We will check their availability and connect you directly.
How do I pay the professional?
Payment is directly between you and the professional. You can pay by M-Pesa or cash, depending on what you agree with them. VRL Beauty does not handle payments.
What if I'm not happy with the service?
Contact us within 24 hours of the appointment. We will investigate. We take every complaint seriously and it feeds directly into the professional’s rating. We do not promise refunds — that is between you and the provider — but we make sure every complaint is on record and acted on.
